LEGAL FELLOW

Over the last four years, David has worked with refugees and those experiencing homelessness in Canada, social innovators and stand up comics in the UK, and human rights leaders and international media representatives in Norway. These experiences are complemented by the skillsets gained while earning an LL.B from the University of Edinburgh, and an Honours History Degree specializing in Political Science from the University of Guelph. His motivation stems from the understanding that if the Canadian government did not grant asylum to his grandmother's family fleeing the Soviet advance in the Second World War, he would not be here today. David has passion for building peaceful and equitable communities in which everyone can thrive as a mean of building lasting resilience against harm.
